2010-11-27 | Visit to Ecologically Renovated Construction Sites

In the form of a ballad, the residents of St-Léonard visit, in their own neighbourhood and on the surrounding slopes, 3 ecologically renovated construction sites. This event, which seeks to raise awareness for energy-saving and ecological renovation of buildings, also offers a chance to discover breathtaking landscapes just outside the city.

2010-11-19 | the European Forum for Architectural Policies

This Friday afternoon, about hundred participants to the European Forum for Architectural Policies visited the St-Léonard district and its different projects. It was an opportunity for presenting the SUN project and the actions conducted in St-Léonard. 2010-11-06 | Still a greening project implemented in St-Léonard!

This Saturday, inhabitants of the Street "Petites Vignes" built two giant jardinières, made of "big bags" protected by chestnut fences. This project complements the efforts made by certain inhabitants who are already used to green their facade in order to make their street more pleasant to live. And after the effort, comes the time to celebrate the project!

2010-10-19 | Window purchase group

This event is organised in 2 steps.

Session1 : the participants receive information about the techniques for replacing high-performance window glass or frames. Next, 3 selected contractors set out the specifics. At the end of this session, each participant can ask for 1 estimate.

Session 2 : the speakers bring their estimates and submit their questions to the “neutral” expert, the contractors and an energy consultant.

2010-09-29 | Greening started in St-Léonard!

This Wednesday afternoon, at the initiative of a few associations and a school of the neighbourhood, about fourty small and bigger children planted ivy and clematis in order to "green" a concrete wall bordering the corner of two street in the centre of the district. It was an occasion for a convivial tea party with the inhabitants of the closed building, listening to the music of the band invited for the occasion. This greening project was proposed following the call for collective projects launched in January 2010 by the City of Liège in the frame of the SUN project
